Ferris Outfitters is Ferris State University's new campus store, replacing Barnes & Noble and reintroducing the space as a student-first, one-stop shop. Working within a team of three, I initiated the 'Vintage Refresh' design direction — a concept celebrating Ferris' rich history while positioning Outfitters as the welcoming heart of campus.

Led the development of the final logo system, including an emblem with tagline, a stacked logo, and a one-line wordmark—giving the brand flexibility across every application.

The acrylic sign was designed to complement the store's existing red brick exterior—a choice that honored the building's character while adding a modern, polished edge to the storefront.

Every detail was considered—from the sidewalk A-frame to the clothing tag on the rack, each an extension of the brand voice.

The custom shipping box extended the concept into the unboxing experience, 'A Five Star Fit' on the interior nodded to old school quality ratings, carried through in the five stars seen in the emblem.
